DxD Minecraft
Overview
DxD Minecraft is my longest-running project and the server where I learned most of what I know by actually building for a real community. It has grown through years of experiments, updates, events, broken ideas, and better versions of them.
What I worked on
I founded the project and work across its Java gameplay systems, plugin configurations, content updates, performance, and long-term direction. I also designed and built the public DxD website, and I handle the less glamorous work: testing, fixing live issues, and keeping old systems working as the project changes.
The problem
Keeping a long-running server interesting without making it unstable is the hard part. New content has to work with years of existing systems, while performance, balance, and the experience of returning players still need attention.
Systems I built
- Custom Java gameplay systems and plugin configurations
- Custom mobs, encounters, worlds, and server events
- Database-backed player and server data
- Menus, progression, rewards, and content systems
- A responsive public website built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Performance tuning, maintenance, and long-term updates
