Skill Arena Minecraft
Overview
Skill Arena is a Minecraft network I’m building as one connected product: custom gameplay, progression, player-facing systems, and a bespoke web store at store.sarp.gg. The server and website are designed around the same player journey instead of feeling like separate projects that happen to share a name.
What I worked on
I handle the server direction, custom plugin work, gameplay systems, configurations, testing, and performance. I also designed and developed the store from the UI through to its server-side routes: player selection, basket state, live Tebex data, gifts, checkout, and the details that make a purchase feel safe instead of confusing.
The problem
The hard part is keeping the whole experience connected without making it feel heavy. Progression, the economy, player accounts, live server information, and purchases all need to make sense together ~ especially when Java and Bedrock players do not follow exactly the same account flow.
Systems I built
- Custom network plugins and Minecraft gameplay systems
- Progression and economy foundations
- Safe Java and Bedrock account selection for purchases
- Live server status, voting, staff, and localized pages
- A custom Next.js web store connected to Tebex checkout
- Live product, basket, gifting, and purchase state
